Intermediate Orchestra (Grades 7 & 8)
1 credit - Prerequisite: Successful audition
Time of class: blue days, 1st period
This course offers the opportunity for the intermediate level students to participate in a string orchestra ensemble. A variety of musical styles will be studied through the playing of appropriate string orchestra literature. Rehearsals and performances outside of normal school hours may be required as a part of this course.

Advanced Orchestra (Grades 7 & 8))
1 credit - Prerequisite: Successful audition
Time of class: blue days, 7th period
Advanced orchestra offers instruction to the advanced level player. String orchestra literature will be studied and performed. Rehearsals and performances outside of normal school hours will be required as a part of this course.
